Day 22 of fasting

I meant to blog more often, but there are days when I cannot find the time!
Only a couple more days left for Ramadhaan, it really went too fast, this year I really fet that there has just not been enough time in the day, mostly I think because we break fast early (before 6:00pm), and even thoh it may be good because its a short day, I must say there's just not enough time to get as much Ibaadat done as I would like to get done.

Anyway as Ramadhaan leaves, I just make dua that Allah bless us all with many more Ramadhaans filled with barakah & blessings.
Also to take advantage of what's left of this great month and to remember the flood victims of Pakistan, the Palestinians and basically all of the Ummah who finds themselves in difficult trying times, May Allah grant them all relief from their pain & sufferings, Aameen!

There is way too much that I have to thank Allah (swt) for! I still ask Allah to answer all my dua's, goals and dreams, and to fulfill them in a way that it will be filled with good and that it will be service to the Ummah and Islam as well! Aameen!I also request this dua from whoever reads this blog:)

Dua for Laylatul Qadr:
"Oh Allah! You are most forgiving and most gracious! You love to pardon so pardon me"

5 Tricks To Set New Contacts At Ease In 10 Seconds By Keith Ferrazzi Few have strength of reason to overcome the perceptions of sense. - Samuel Johnson You have about ten seconds before a person decides, subconsciously, whether they like you or not. In that short period of time we don't exchange a lot of words; our judgment is mostly based on nonverbal communication. Why? Anthropologists tell us that we're thinking like cavemen. Deep in our genetic code, we are conditioned to be afraid of strangers. Will they eat us or feed us? That's why we form first impressions so quickly; we have to decide whether or not it is safe to approach. How do you get someone who doesn't know you to feel comfortable talking? This is not the time to play hard-to-get, keep a distance, or play mysterious. Instead, take the initiative in creating a welcoming impression. Day 1 of Fasting

Today was a good fasting day, I was way too busy at work to even feel the fast. It has become really cold again,we felt really cold Sehri time. It's been a long time since I can remember fasting in winter, the days are shorter and colder, which I don't mind at all, it's so much better than fasting in Summer. By the time I got home from work I had just enough time to read Asr, and then while making salaad Maghrib Azaan went, the day was over before I knew it! So far so good! The only thing that really worries me is the five assignments I have to complete before the 20 August. I really have to put a step on it!

Day 9 of fasting

So it has been a while, things have been hectic, trying to finish assignments. Fasts are going well, just a little sleep deprieved. So I got this image on e-mail recently. Very true, Hopefully I can remember these points as well!
