Yes, I'm back after a long time away from blogging! I wrote my last paper on Eid day, I am releived it's over !
Results will be released on the 21 December, I'm hoping for the best, Allah knows best!
I have made some goals for myself, which I need to acheive, just things that I have never managed to get down to, so here's the list:
Let's call this my TO-DO List:
1. Start exercising again (I started two days ago, going well so far...)
2. Do my resume & apply for a job (I'm procrastinating this one... I have my fears.. BUT I WILL GET THERE)
3. Learn to use CorelDraw Graphics Suite. (HELP!I'm trying but its frustrating.. I can't seem to get the hang of it or have the patience for it)
4. Read more books ( I went to the library today, I got some self-motivational books & also some meaning ful books- will blog about the books I'm reading)
5. Doing the things I put-off that need to be done at work and also trying to get my sales at work up- I know its the festive season it shouldn't be that hard, but it IS especially when your clients are corporates!
6. Ahh, and lastly watch ALL the series I've missed out one! I have some serious catching up to do, HAHA.(Greys,Gossip girl,Good Wife, 90210 and the list goes on... Ofcourse I have already begun!)

And also hopefully spending my time doing something meaningful. I was really looking forward to a special trip this year but I don't know if it is going to work out, as the saying goes we plan and Allah plans!
So I leave if at that, Allah knows BEST!

So I'm going to start reading a book called 'Against the Stranger' by Janine Di Giovanni. It's about the lives of Palestinians and Israeli's living in the West Bankk and Gaza. I plan to blog more about all the books I read so  I'll will do a posting about this book.

Deep in our genetic code, we are conditioned to be afraid of strangers. Will they eat us or feed us? That's why we form first impressions so quickly; we have to decide whether or not it is safe to approach. How do you get someone who doesn't know you to feel comfortable talking? This is not the time to play hard-to-get, keep a distance, or play mysterious. Instead, take the initiative in creating a welcoming impression. People are wowed by social decisiveness when it's offered with compassion and warmth. How another person perceives you is d...

Day 1 of Fasting

Today was a good fasting day, I was way too busy at work to even feel the fast. It has become really cold again,we felt really cold Sehri time. It's been a long time since I can remember fasting in winter, the days are shorter and colder, which I don't mind at all, it's so much better than fasting in Summer. By the time I got home from work I had just enough time to read Asr, and then while making salaad Maghrib Azaan went, the day was over before I knew it! So far so good! The only thing that really worries me is the five assignments I have to complete before the 20 August. I really have to put a step on it!

Day 9 of fasting

So it has been a while, things have been hectic, trying to finish assignments. Fasts are going well, just a little sleep deprieved. So I got this image on e-mail recently. Very true, Hopefully I can remember these points as well!
